Sphew! Boy have I been busy. My husband and I decided out of the blue one day to get a house! So... we got one! Well, it's two weeks until closing and if all goes smoothly, we will be in our new house (with my new little workout studio) on May 29th!
But, my busyness will not keep me from giving you a new post! Even though it's 4 in the afternoon :-)
So, here we go.
Plyometrics. AKA. Jumping moves, is a specific category of exercise used to build power and strength! When combining plyometrics in a one hour session...it. is. killer! (and will put you to sleep fast).
Plyometric exercises include, jump squats, mary katherines, frog jumps, jack squats, and the list goes on and on! All of these get your feet off the ground and your sweat out of your pores.
If you incorporate some of these moves in with your normal workout, you will notice a HUGE difference. Here's a tip though: Act as if your are a cat when performing these moves. Land softly on your toes. You will build not only strength and power, but balance as well!
